We’re heading to Japan for a week of diving deep into its history, culture, and people to create a song that could only be written there. This isn’t about rushing through tourist spots — it’s about walking ancient streets in Kyoto, feeling the energy of Tokyo at night, sitting down with local musicians, sharing meals, asking questions, and really listening. Each day we’ll explore, connect, and then bring those experiences into the studio, shaping melodies and lyrics inspired by what we’ve lived together. With a two-person camera crew capturing the journey, the entire creative process will be documented as we collaborate toward one final song that reflects the spirit of Japan and the stories of the people we meet along the way.

As you ride through the golden grasslands outside Almaty, the wind becomes your rhythm section, steady and ancient, while distant mountains hum a low harmony beneath your thoughts. You find yourself sharing tea inside a yurt with local musicians who pass down stories through the haunting sounds of the dombra, their fingers dancing across strings like echoes of nomadic journeys. In Astana, the contrast hits—modern skylines reflecting ambition and change—giving your lyrics a tension between tradition and the future. Every mile traveled across this country writes a new line for you, until your song becomes a fusion of wide-open silence, cultural depth, and the quiet realization that sometimes the most powerful music is found in the spaces where words almost fail.
